Wildfang Women's Apparel

Wildfang is a menswear-inspired apparel brand created to break gender norms in fashion and society. The company was founded in 2012 by Emma Mcilroy, Taralyn Thuot and Julia Parsley, who previously worked at Nike in Portland, Oregon. Frankly, they were fed up wondering if having real pockets in their clothes was a revolutionary notion. Or if it was too much to ask for a button up shirt without boob gap. They embraced both the feminine and masculine equally, challenging outdated norms promoted by the fashion industry and designed apparel that suited all women and the LGBQT community. Here, we celebrate the rule breakers who pushed the bounds of societal standards to rightfully declare themselves at a time when it was seriously shamed.
