The work I produce on my time off is often with my sage friend from the '70s: the Nikon FE that I inherited from my family. My film camera, who holds years on me, offers wisdom and a depth that the digital world has passed by. Looking through the lens finder, I find myself stopping at every corner of every street, in awe of the small unguarded moments in the every day, often overlooked by others because they'd be considered "mundane." Maybe it's through photographs of the overlooked and quiet lives lived that we can see each other as one living united on this big beautiful earth and finally find peace on this journey together. I hope my images tell a story or give smile.
